Jennifer Edson

 / Chief Financial Officer

 

Jennifer Edson is a highly accomplished financial executive with a record of success leading organizations to top fiscal performance through strategic planning, development, and management of efficient accounting procedures and systems. As the Chief Financial Officer of Plunk, Edson is responsible for the financial and risk management operations of the company. 

 

Throughout her thirty-year career, Jennifer has demonstrated a passion for solving complex financial problems and delivering results for her clients. Most recently, Edson worked at Denali Founder Consulting, where she provided accounting and finance consulting services to small and mid-sized businesses. She helped build Denali after it was purchased by TA Group Holdings, managing over 20 accounting consultants, across 100+ clients in the pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A stages. During her tenure, revenue increased by over 50 percent. 

 

Edson also ran her own consulting business for start-up companies across a wide range of industries including professional services, gaming, and SaaS and worked with companies such as Shyft Technologies, Arrowhead Labs, Highlands Fiber Networks, Legalpad, and Serellan. She started her career as an Audit Senior at Arthur Andersen, where she gained valuable experience in auditing and internal controls. From there, she transitioned to Manager of Revenue Accounting role at LexisNexis® Sheshunoff® and also worked as a Financials Implementation Instructor at PeopleSoft. 

 

Edson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration-Accounting from the University of Iowa and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with the Washington State Board of Accountancy. When she’s not cranking away at financials, she can usually be found adventuring in the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest with her family and friends.
